Description The hydrolysis and ammonolysis of fluorophosphoric acid betaines of the type B.PO2F was studied by 19F and 31P NMR spectroscopy. The main product of the hydrolysis is the 1,2-difluorodiphosphate, while the ammonolysis furnishes the amidofluoro- phosphate. Its condensation with betaine gives a hitherto unknown imido- 1,2-difluorodiphosphate, which is isoelectronic with above mentioned 1,2-difluorodiphosphate.
