Petr Holub, a member of the ICS management and a researcher, will receive an award from the Grant Agency of Masaryk University for top results and extraordinary achievements in the field of research at MUNI. The announcement will take place online at the GAMU Annual Conference on Thursday, December 10, in the afternoon with university management's participation.
Petr Holub was nominated for the award based on his significant work in the international infrastructure community BBMRI (Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure). This also proves an article published in the prestigious scientific journal EJHG (European Journal of Human Genetics) on infrastructure in scientific crisis management of COVID-19. The paper discusses the specific BBMRI-ERIC goals to facilitate access to well-defined biological materials and data for research purposes.
The GAMU award aims not only to hand over a diploma and a financial reward but also to strengthen the motivation of outstanding researchers at the university and spread the reputation of MUNI in the scientific community and the public.
