The expected output of the project was an overview analysis of the state of information systems and portals in the Czech Republic in the area of research and development.
The analysis should have included the evaluation of usability, timeliness and accessibility of the systems, as well as the characteristics of both their users and providers.
To compile the analysis, the project was to evaluate the influence of technical, personal, structural, organizational, financial and legislative factors on the development of R&D information systems at the national level,
and to point out the strengths and weaknesses. A part of the project also was the recommendation of principle directions for further development of information infrastructure in the CR.

Results

The result of the project is a research report on the Conception of Information Infrastructure for Research and Development in the CR,
containing a comparative analysis of current state of so called CRISes (Current Research Information Systems) in the CR and in the EU, and a recommendation of directions for further development of those in the CR. The report primarily focuses on the specification of the data model, and a standard offer of services
of a Czech national R&D register.
