Description | Subject of this contribution is application of capillary electrophoresis with contactless conductivity detection for the determination of amino acids in biological fluids for supplementary diagnoses of pyridoxine-dependent epilepsy and other metabolic disorders. Optimization of the method for the analysis of amino acids in the human plasma and urine is presented. Method performance has been tested on a group of patients varying in age and diagnosis. |
