Description The gold-arsenide clusters, AumAsn, clusters were generated(synthesized) via laser ablation of nanogold, arsenic and/or arsenic-nanogold and arsenic–auric acid mixtures, while mass spectrometric analysis of laser generated clusters was done using a mass spectrometer equippedafforded with quadrupole ion trap, reflectron and time of flight analyser. The stoichiometry and distribution of clusters formed via LAS was determined by comparison between theoretical models and experimental results.
