Citation
Description Everyday usage of scholarly digital libraries radically changes. Libraries instead of metadata processing only move towards fulltext indexing, including handling of specific objects as mathematical formulae. Libraries offer new ways of content filtering, reference linking, automated classification, semantic similarity computations and bibliometrics. In the talk history of Digital Mathematical Libraries (DML) developments will be overviewed. Verified technologies will be shown on examples of the Czech Digital Mathematics Library DML-CZ and the European Digital Mathematics Library EuDML. Last but not least, current results and challenges for semantic processing, indexing and vizualization of big data in digital libraries will be shown.
