Description The conference speeches deals in the introduction with the characteristics and structure of the Frankish law and the possible influence of Roman law on the Frankish law. The main part of the conference speeches analyses the development of the institute Frankish law in the area of asylum law and the law of inheritance and the possible influence of the Roman law. At the end of conference speeches, there is examined the application of Salic inheritance law in 1890, at the moment when Adolphe became Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
