This trend is reflected in the altered depiction of an ideal young man that appears in the literature of the period. First, presented paper introduces different elements of this portrait, such as noble birth, good physical health, willingness to train military and hunting skills, luxurious equipment and impressive appearance. Next, it aims to associate motifs of an ideal young man's depiction with particular aspects of social changes that might motive their formation. |
