| Description | A handbook on design, implementation and evaluation of inclusive education and learning in the historic environment becomes one of the project outputs. It seeks to answer the question “How to enable learners of various abilities to engage with cultural heritage in the Czech Republic”. In general, it provides a basic theoretical insight into the concept of inclusive heritage education and learning. In particular, it summarizes practical guidelines for the development of programmes suitable also for people with special educational needs. Four examples of good practice that are presented in the last section of the book illustrate possibilities of unlocking educational potential of authentic ambience of various heritage sites (e. g. industrial area, historical garden and park) in order to meet the targets of both special and inclusive education. |
