Description | The article comprises new findings of rarer plant species in the Litomyšl region (Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic) from the year 2014. Discussed are species which have never been found in the region before: Gagea minima (near the village of Cerekvice nad Loučnou), Omphalodes scorpioides (Řídký) and Orchis purpurea (Řídký). The second group are species which have not been confirmed in the region for more decades: Orchis ustulata var. ustulata (Nová Ves u Litomyšle), Potentilla recta (Čistá) and Rosa gallica (Řídký), These species were discovered mainly in the vegetation of rather xerophilous non-forest vegetation of the alliances Bromion erecti and Trifolion medii or in the vegetation of eutrophic mesophilous deciduous forests of the alliances Carpinion and Tilio-Acerion. With the exception of Orchis ustulata var. ustulata, all species have been discovered in the valley of the river Loučná for which thermophilous elements from the periphery of the Polabí Basin are characteristic. |
