Description | This paper is the first set from a series of publications that will include commented remarkable phytosociological relevés from the Czech Republic. Main results include: (1) Calcareous Pinus sylvestris woodlands growing on limestone outcrops in the Moravian Karst and probably belonging to the alliance Erico-Pinion comprising peri-alpidic calcareous pine forests, the vegetation type that is very rare in the Czech Republic. (2) Rare ruderal vegetation with a high cover of Chenopodium murale (association Polygono arenastri- Chenopodietum muralis) was recorded in southern Moravia. (3) A ruderal community dominated by Tribulus terrestris and classifi ed as the association Tribulo terrestris-Tragetum racemosi, was recorded in the city of Brno for the fi rst time in the country. (4) Halophilous grassland of the association Puccinellietum limosae was recorded in the restored saline site of Zápověď near Terezín in southern Moravia. (5) Species-poor vegetation dominated by the alien aquatic fern Azolla fi liculoides, classifi ed as the association Ceratophyllo-Azolletum fi liculoidis, was recorded in Moravia for the first time. |
