| Description | This publication compares two methods of quality control for hosPOC glucometers. The results show significantly better results (precision) in the method which uses external standardized material for QC compared to the method comparing values with the laboratory. This points to a systemic use of glucometers with patients in contraindicative status. This discrepancy may be diminished by the improvement of nurses training. |
