Description | This case study on higher secondary education board of Nepal examines qualitatively human resource management and development practices undertaken to manage and develop teachers serving in the schools under HSEB in reference and against the stated vision, mission and objectives of higher secondary education board of Nepal. An assessment of HSEB goals, HRM practices undertaken by the board and universally accepted significance of HRM perspectives were used as main research strategies to address the research question stated here: How does HSEB Nepal address teaching faculty management and development issues in an endeavor to address quality educational outcomes as envisioned in its policy documents? The analysis of statistical data from the HSEB office publications, electronic media, and qualitative information, and research participants' opinions showed that integrating sustainable HRM practices in line with other functions of HSEB was crucial for attaining academic objectives measurably. |
