Description | In the 16th and 17th centuries the Croatians settled in several villages in South Moravia. By the early 20th century there have maintained only three ethnic Croatian villages, namely Dobré Pole, the largest population of Jevišovka (formerly Frélichov) and Nový Přerov. The mentioned villages are located in the western part of the Břeclav district. This text focuses on their socio-economic characteristics at the beginning of the 21st century and concludes that it is no different from other village community in South Moravia. |
