Yet it presents a risk factor for development of medication-related osteonecrosis of jaws (MRONJ). This text offers an overview of current approaches when treating patients with compromised healing. The article also presents simplified diagnostic criteria for treatment planning and simplified guideline for surgical intervention in MRONJ patients. A plethora of prophylactic precautions successfully minimizes the risk of osteonecrosis development. |
