Description | Brachial plexus injury is the most common peripheral nerve paresis in a newborn. The incidence of this injury ranges from 1-2 cases per 1,000 live births. Brachial plexus damage can be distinguished in several ways, but the most common is the division into lower and upper type paresis. The paper deals only with upper type paresis. At the beginning of the study, there was a presumption that the affected upper extremity on the thermogram would manifest itself hypothermically against a healthy limb. |
