Citation
Description After the second world war, Czechoslovakia fell under the influence of Soviet Union and has been ruled by a totalitarian communist/socialist regime between 1948 and 1989. As in many other countries, religion was suppressed during the period. This paper explores the situation and formation of alternative religiosities and spiritualities in Czechoslovakia before the communist coup, under the communist regime, their fates and "survival strategies", as well as the boom of alternative religiosities after the Velvet Revolution in 1989.
