Description The architectural space became one of the key concepts of the study of art history at the Brno Art History Seminar. The aim of the lecture (and study) is to present the persistence and at the same time transformations of this concept into the thinking of Václav Richter and his pupil Zdeněk Kudělek. While the first considered space mainly on a philosophical basis and his position can be understood as moderate realism, Zdeněk Kudělka worked with analyzes of space in terms of real realism. The standpoint of the present teaching is more of an analysis of concrete spaces and thus closer to moderate nominalism.
