| Description | Masaryk University uses a complex information system for project administration, based on the in-house developed ISEP system, connected with other information systems, especially the economic, personnel and records management. Throughout its 19-year history, ISEP has gone through a number of stages defined by the requirements of legislation, investors and university operations, which often change from year to year. ISEP covers the whole project lifecycle from submitting a proposal (electronic approval, submission with a "fingerprint" in the records management), through implementation (resource planning, reporting, multi-resource wages, controls) to final evaluation, used eg in internal project competitions (called internal grant agencies). Of course there are links to the public website of the university and thus ensuring (mandatory) publicity, the specifics include links to the University Ethics Board or register of personal data processing. The paper presents selected functions of ISEP, which the authors consider - even with regard to the focus of the conference - the most interesting. |
