| Description | Today, innovative medicines are increasingly targeting small, specific groups of patients. Today, for example, it is possible to provide cancer patients with a specific mutation with a drug that has a targeted effect on them. However, there are still patients who do not respond to any treatment, and no one knows why. According to some experts, this is where there would be room for non-commercial clinical trials done in the style of personalized medicine, where specialists would try to find out how to help these people who drop out of treatment. The Round Table of the Medical Diary dealt with the issue. |
