Description | A visit to the studio of the Slovak designer Dominika Kozáková, who studied costume design at the JAMU in Brno and became known to the general public in 2017 with her FW18 collection at Mercedens - Benz Prague FashionWeek. Since then, she has regularly presented her collections not only at the aforementioned fashion week, but has also been represented at the Fashion Clash festival in the Netherlands. Her work is playful and colorful. She is not afraid to experiment with techniques, materials, styles and colors, but also with the form of a fashion show, when in FW20 she presented herself in the Prague club SWIM. Working with unisex or gender fluidity gives models a new dimension when, according to the author, it is a challenge due to the different typology of male and female figures, when her greatest inspiration is childhood and a child's view of the gender differences with which she is inspired. |
