| Description | This article examines recent plays and performances by contemporary theater collectives and monodrama performers in Lebanon. It highlights their growing sociopolitical commitments, which diverge from previous trends, and maps the direction of new theatrical experimentation in the country. It therefore also aspires to fill the gap in documentation of the current state of Lebanese theater. |
