Description The MOU MindCare ehealth mobile app, designed to support the mental health of cancer patients, is being offered to patients from June 2022 as part of a randomised controlled trial (RCT) at the Masaryk Cancer Institute (MCI). A total of 408 participants have enrolled in the study until June 2023. Patient recruitment is being conducted at two levels, through active outreach by study coordinators, as well as through flyers, social media, podcasts and radio broadcasts. As part of the active recruitment process, data on reasons for refusal to enter the study are also recorded. In addition, patients' adherence to the eHealth intervention and, where appropriate, reasons for drop-out are monitored throughout the study. This paper aims to present initial results that suggest what might be the main factors influencing adherence, drop out and refusal to enter the study.
