Description | Probiotics have been used in human and veterinary medicine to increase resistance to pathogens and provide protection against external impacts for many years. Pathogens are often transmitted to humans through animal product consumption. Therefore, it is assumed that probiotics protecting animals may also protect the humans who consume them. The composition of the lyophilizate containing the excipient Neusilin® NS2N and the cryoprotectant saccharose was found to be the most suitable in terms of viability, with no significant decrease being observed after a storage period of 6 months, which was chosen as the time limit based on the literature. |
