Description The technology improves the adhesion of natural fibres to the polymer matrix in the fabrication of laminated composites. Plasma treatment of fibres using DCSBD in air at atmospheric pressure effectively functionalizes the surface of the fibres and thus significantly improves the adhesion forces at the fibre-matrix interface, which positively affects the resulting properties of the composites.
