| Description | The event was intended for students/doctoral students/employees who wanted to learn about the principles of light microscopy. During the course, participants learned the basics of image formation, the basic rules and laws applied in light microscopy, Abbe resolution, what are the basic parts of a light microscope and how to properly take an image using a wide-angle or confocal microscope. The last part was devoted to the basics of image processing and analysis, where participants learned how to properly edit and analyze images using various software packages. |
