| Description | We consider the notion of free partially commutative semigroups in semigroup varieties. We give a transparent solution for the word problem for these semigroups in 10 varieties of bands revealing their trace structure. Then we use it to describe all equations solvable in these semigroups. All algorithms are shown to have low polynomial time complexity. |
