Description | Spatial heterogeneity of variable chlorophyll fluorescence over thalli of Hypogymnia physodes, Lasallia pustulata, and Umbilicaria hirsuta were studied using chlorophyll fluorescence imagig technique. Distribution of maximum (Fp) fluorescence was species-specific: maximal values were found at thallus margins (H. physodes), center (L. pustulata), and irregular patches (U. hirsuta. Fp decreased with thallus dehydration. |
