Description | Experimental design combined with artificial neural networks enables faster optimization of the separation conditions than classical single variable approach. HPLC can be successfully used for the determination of the state of 2-deoxycytidine 5-monophosphate methylation in DNA. Utilization of ED-ANN within HPLC has greatly enhanced the method of quantitative determination of 5-methyl-2'-deoxycytidine 5'-monophosphate and 2'-deoxycytidine 5'-monophosphate in the cell homogenate. Use of this approach has allowed us to optimize separation of several types of mixtures containing purine and pyrimidine bases, their nucleosides and nucleotides. |
