Description | The paper brings a short information on discovery of Neolithic mines for contact-metamorphic greenschists at Velké Hamry south of Tanvald. Besides mining pits with many semi-finished shoe-last adzes and flat axes there was found a part of bazaltoid hammer and a polisher. From geological point of view, it is a contact area between the Krkonoše-Jizera granite pluton and the Železný Brod crystalline unit. |
