Description | SPE of mixtures of phenol and 15 chlorophenols incl. PCP was studied on Separon SGX C18 and Amberlite XAD 2 in the presence of hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride in alkaline medium, and their efficiency for the preconcentration of phenols was compared. The HPLC on narrow bore octadecylsilica column was successfully used for the determination of phenols in methanol eluate, when gradient elution was applied with 36:55 methanol/phosphate buffer (pH 3.5) and methanol mobile phases, and a diode array detector was used for their evaluation. |
