| Description | The aim of the project was to develop simple, sensitive and reproducible method for determination of tolbutamide and hydroxytolutamide from perfuse rat liver medium. Hydroxylation of tolbutamide is used as a valuable tool for measurement of metabolic activity of the 2C6/11 isoform of cytochrome P-450 in rats (CYP2C6/11) The determination was performed with HPLC. This method employs an internal standard. This method is applicable for measurement the activity of CYP 2C6/11. |
