Description | Groundwater in Brahmanbaria district, Bangladesh, is contaminated by arsenic. Speciation modeling showed that Fe released from dissolution of ferric oxides and hydroxides may be incorporated in siderite and vivianite. Multivariate statistics indicated similarity among redox sensitive species, thus confirming the role of reducing conditions in release of arsenic. |
