Description Controlled flooding of mine at Kaňk, Czech Republic, resulted in high concentrations of arsenic, sulfate, and other dissolved species. Initial concentrations were relatively low, but they increased short time after water level in shaft reached de-watering addit. A conceptual model of mine waters chemistry evolution is presented and discussed.
