Description | Two cell lines were established from biopsy samples of patients surgically treated for glioblastoma multiforme. Genetic abnormalities were studied on fresh bioptic material using interphase fluorescence in situ hybridization (iFISH); cultivated cell lines were analyzed by G-banding and spectral karyotyping (SKY). The expression of intermediate filament proteins (vimentin, GFAP, nestin) was analyzed at different passages for both cell lines. |
