Description | By plasma spraying of titanium carbide and diboride using water stabilized plasma torch WSP and CVD deposition of titanium nitride, followed by their surface oxidation, compact photoactive ceramic parts of chemical reactors can be produced. Photocatalytic efficiency of TiC, TiN and TiB2 and the products of their oxidation at 450C and 1000C in air and at 450C in oxygen plasma was determined and compared with plasma treated TiO2 and Ti2O3. |
