| Description | In this paper we present the project closely related to the development of a new Czech Lexical Database (CLD) - which will be a comprehensive database of Czech being developed by the Institute of Czech Language in Prague. It will serve as the main resource for the development of various printed dictionaries. Within the project we are developing a tool for CLD browsing and editing called PRALED. It is based on a new development platform for client-server XML databases called DEBII. Thanks to the generality of underlying formats and methods, this platform covers many possible applications including the management of ontologies for semantic web applications. |
