Description This study summarizes several years monitoring results. Parameters of the soil microorganisms from flooding area have been monitored in several soils in Zlín region (Czech Republic). All soils are situated in flooding area round rivers Morava and Dřevnice. Soils have been monitored from 1996 to 2005. Detail characteristics of soils were performed. Many physical and chemical parameters, heavy metals and persistent organic pollutants contents were evaluated. Above all the biological quality of soils was monitored and evaluated.
