Description | Solid-phase microextraction (SPME) in combination with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was used for separation of methylmercury. Sample was digested with methanolic potassium hydroxide. Methylmercury was propylated and headspace sampled with a polydimethylsiloxane-coated SPME fused-silica fiber. The method was applied for the analysis of reference material BCR-463 tuna fish. |
