| Description | Five treponemal genes with putative regulatory functions were cloned and expressed in the BAC library of T. pallidum DNA in the E. coli. Total RNA was isolated from the individual clones of the library and was compared to the control RNA. The regulatory function was identified for RpoN, FhlA and HisK proteins. |
