Description By plasma sprayng of titanium diborid and titanium carbide using water stabilised plasma torch WSP and CVD deposition of titanium nitride followed by their surface oxidation, compact photoactive parts of chemical reactors can be produced. Photocatalytic efficiency of TiC, TiN and TiB2 and the products of their oxidation at 450 and 1000oC in air and at 450oC in oxygen plasma was determined and compared with plasma treated TiO2 and Ti2O3.
