Description Laser induced fluorescence (LIF) detection is invaluable especially for unparalleled sensitivity; LIF detector combined with a micro column separation method can be used to detect extremely low amounts of fluorescent analytes, in some cases at single molecule level. Diferent methods of detection in CE LIF (indirect detection, derivatization,..) are summarized.
