Description | The absence of information on concentrations of persistent organic pollutants in the environmental matrices in developing regions is preventing the local authorities from taking the adequate actions to protect the people and environment. A potential of passive air sampling technique to serve as a cost-effective monitoring tool and provide seasonally and spatially resolved information about the local sources and levels of contamination was confirmed in this study. |
