Description | Multivariate statistical methods for analysing competitiveness of chosen European Union regions are used in the contribution. The date were obtained from database Regio and from Eurostat Regional Yearbook. Eighty five European NUTS 2 regions of 6 European countries: Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia are considered. The outcome of the analysis is the classification of groups of regions with similar values of competitiveness factors and the comparisons of obtained classifications with other approaches |
