Description Copper nanostructures are fabricated by electroplating into nanoporous alumina membranes coated with a copper film on one side. After metal electrodeposition into the nanopores in the membrane, and subsequent dissolution of the membrane, copper nanostructures are obtained. The nanostructures are analysed using Scanning Electron Microscopy SEM and suitable electrochemical techniques (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy EIS, Cyclic Voltammetry CV). A surfaces covered with nanostructures can be applied in advanced sensors and biosensors.
