| Description | The paper based on extensive research conducted at basic schools in the region of South Moravia (120 schools) suggests that school managements make considerable effort to continue with practical training of pupils in school technology workshops even though most of them admit there are problems with maintenance of technical teaching aids. That concerns mainly various tools and instruments, single-purpose machines and material for practical training of pupils in technology. Elementary practical training of technical kind, however, belongs to basic education. |
