Description Bacteria of genus Streptomyces represent one of the most important parts of soil microbial colonization. As well as other bacteria, bacteria of genus Streptomyces are sensitive to soil contamination by heavy metals. Ability of uptake of heavy metals by these bacteria will be discussed in submitted contribution.
