Description | Mathematical processing of retinal images can establish number of capillary endings in a determined part of retina. In physiological eyes the number of capillary endings is of constant quantity. The process of proliferation leads to increasing the number of capillary endings and helps specify the degree of severity of diabetic retinopathy. |
