| Description | Terrain is a relatively stable landscape feature if comparing it with some other territory factors. In details or in small areas, the terrain can be deeply changed by natural and human processes. Such changes cannot be incorporated into existing maps immediately. A topic DTM can be necessary for many purposes usually connected with various emergency tasks. The response to endangering events must be fast a efficient what is not possible without reliable geodata and technology. A high quality fresh DTM can be provided by the ground and aerial laserscanning (LIDAR - Light Detection and Ranging). |
