Description | There are described stone polished artefacts (especially shoe-last celts) from a burial ground connected with the Linear pottery culture and containing inhumation and cremated graves at Kralice na Hané. Based on characterization of individual minerals (amphiboles, feldspars, opaque minerals) using a microprobe and also on chemistry of the whole rock it is possible to suppose the provenience of used rock in the area of prehistoric mines for amphibol-rich metabasites in the Jizerské hory Mts. (northern Bohemia). |
